Tasting Notes

This blend of Montmorency Cherries and Black Sweet Cherries creates a fascinating and quite lovely taste experience. Aromas of sweet-and-sour cherry, potpourri and dried fruits - almost reminiscent of a Tawny Port - with an exiting cinnamon-orange tea complexity. The palate is medium sweet, with a tangy cherry core adding even more layers to the flavour replays. A lovely harmony of sweetness and sourness. Enjoy with unsweetened or semi-sweet fruit turnovers, or high-cocoa chocolate desserts. (VINTAGES panel, July 2013)
