Tasting Notes

Pale gold. Aromas of ginger, apple and walnut skin. Frothy, full and rich; a broad, solid, very concentrated Champagne whose strong acids give it a very dry impression. Rather powerful and unevolved. Finishes quite long, with a note of talc and some unabsorbed acidity. Youthfully awkward today, yet rather sophisticated and likely to reward aging. Score - 91 (+?).
