Tasting Notes
(100% mencia, from vineyards that reportedly sit at 750 to 800 meters altitude; raised for 22 months in new French oak): Bright ruby-red. An exotically perfumed bouquet evokes candied red fruits, Asian spices, potpourri and cola, with bright mineral overtones. Pliant, sweet and focused flavors of intense black raspberry, cherry and violet pastille along with hints of star anise and licorice.
