Tasting Notes
A nectarous amalgam of pear, white peach and grapefruit, Hexamer's 2010 Meddersheimer Rheingrafenberg Riesling Spatlese is lusciously lingering, its richness enhanced by an undertone of almond extract and with no less intriguing and delightful a sense of shimmering minerality nor less lift than the corresponding Kabinett. This should leave you licking your lips over the course of at least the next 12-15 years if you can keep your corkscrew out of some bottles for that long. Score - 92.
