Tasting Notes
(90% grenache from vines planted in the 19th century, and 5% each of mourvedre and cinsault): Saturated ruby. Vibrant, spice-accented aromas of cherry pit, black raspberry and potpourri, with a hint of star anise in the background. Juicy and incisive on the palate, with powerful red fruit liqueur flavors that pick up spiciness and minerality with air. The mineral and spice notes repeat on the very long, pure, focused finish.
