Tasting Notes
A perennial top value within the Tawse range of chardonnays, the Estate Blend may be a little more giving and obvious than the single vineyard bottlings, but I find this one of the most complete. Wood is noted but beautifully integrated at this stage, and the generosity of fruit and overall depth and weight are sure to please very widely. It's hard not to fall for this open-knit yet clearly defined expression, fruity, spicy, rich, but not exaggerated - in other words, perfectly measured. Drink or hold another half dozen years.
