Tasting Notes
Here the nose barely flirts with post-bottling reduction that shaves the top notes off of the otherwise attractively layered nose of white peach, pear, apricot and soft floral hints. The medium-bodied flavors are the most concentrated to this point with a lush mouth feel that is enhanced by the presence of plenty of dry extract, all wrapped in a lingering finish that is saline to the point of being almost salty. I very much like the complexity and overall this is definitely one to consider, particularly since it will be enjoyable young as well as repay several years of cellaring. Outstanding. Drink: 2018+.
