Tasting Notes
Attractive with an interesting and complex nose suggesting dark cherry and black currant, vanilla and forest floor and woodspice. Bright acidity brings a lifted quality to the rd and purple fruit throughout the silky textured palate. Aging very well, and with still enough freshness to last another 3-5 years years. An ideal pairing for grilled eggplant dishes, grilled meats, aged cheese or charcuterie. (VINTAGES panel, July 2013)
