Tasting Notes
An intensely aromatic and attractive liqueur with fresh-crushed anise seed, Dutch licorice, evergreen and icing sugar. It's sweet in the mouth with delicious layers of black licorice candy, marsala spice and cake frosting. Nice, gently warming finish. A lovely choice as a digestif. (VINTAGES panel, Sept. 2013)
