Tasting Notes
Pale yellow-straw. Sexy lees-accented aromas of pineapple and white flowers, complicated by a candied quality. Sweet, pliant and seamless, with urgent intensity to its white fruit and floral flavors. Tightly coiled and very firmly structured. Best today on the impressively long, vibrant finish, which offers outstanding lift and a late note of menthol. This was a knockout from barrel last year and it's just as good in the bottle. Score - 94. (Stephen Tanzer, International Wine Cellar, Sept. 2012)
