Tasting Notes

The 2006 Quimera has more volume and complexity on the nose compared to the 2002. The nose is melted and harmonious with raspberry, wild strawberry, fennel and sous-bois. The palate is medium-bodied with a dash of white pepper at the front of the mouth. It is very harmonious with great poise and tension on the graphite-tinged finish, though I was seeking more gumption overall. Drink now-2018. Score - 90. (Neal Martin, erobertparker.com, Oct. 2012)
