Tasting Notes
In Spain, the Macabeo grape is often used to make sparkling wine, but when blended with Chardonnay it can create aromatic and crisp still wines that are very easy to enjoy. This one offers up aromas of yellow fruit and lees. Round and full with nice acidity. Enjoy with grilled shrimp or lemon chicken. (VINTAGES panel, Oct. 2013)
