Tasting Notes
This excellent, somewhat under-the-radar estate has turned in a sleeper of the vintage in 2011. The wine's dark plum/ruby/purple color is accompanied by copious aromas of sweet black currants, loamy soil and barriques. With good acidity, a high quality mid-palate and finish, and velvety tannin, it will offer enjoyment over the next 10-12 years. Score - 88-90. (Robert Parker Jr., erobertparker.com, April 2012)
