Tasting Notes
The Grand Corbin-Despagne has an attractive, considered bouquet with plump red fruit, vanilla and violets that blossoms nicely in the glass. The oak here is well used. The palate is medium-bodied with a fine line of acidity, fresh cassis and blackcurrant fruit with a nicely poised finish. This is a good effort from the estate and especially in context of the vintage. Tasted April 2014. Score - 89-91. (Neal Martin, robertparker.com)
