Tasting Notes
The Grand Mayne is a blend of 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. It has a sweet vanillary bouquet with candied orange peel interlacing the red cherry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with ripe tannins that bolster this Saint Emilion, lending it a fine masculine finish with vibrant black fruit that linger in the mouth. Good potential. Tasted April 2014.
