Tasting Notes
Bottled earlier this year, the 2016 Costi�res De N�mes Lou Coucardi� checks in a blend of 50% Mourv�dre, 30% Grenache, and 20% Syrah that was 66% destemmed and aged two years in 500- and 600-liter barrels. This blockbuster beauty boasts a deep purple color as well as a smoking good bouquet of blackberries, cured meats, ground pepper, Asian spices, and flowery incense. Deep, full-bodied, and concentrated, it's still seamless, balanced, and weightless on the palate, and shows why 2016 is such a great vintage in the southern Rh�ne Valley.
