Tasting Notes
(100% carinena; aged for 15 months in small French oak barrels): Inky ruby. Sexy, floral aromas of red berry preserves and cherry-cola. Supple, palate-staining black raspberry and violet pastille flavors are impressively concentrated and focused, picking up smoke and spicecake nuances with air. Sweet, seamless and persistent on the finish, displaying fully absorbed tannins and deeper blue fruit character. This sexy wine is delicious now. Score - 93. (Josh Raynolds, vinous.com, Sept. 2013)
