Tasting Notes
A beautiful wine, the 2009 Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Podere Le Marognole reveals its complexity very slowly. On first sniff, you get bright tones of forest fruit and creme de cassis. A few moments later, the wine offers dusty licorice, dark plum, balsam herb, sweet almond and dried blackberry. It has loads of life locked within. Drink 2015-2025. Score - 93.
