Description
The 1685 range celebrates the year that appears on Boschendal's original title deeds. The bottle shape is also a throwback to an older style, and the wines are all hand-harvested. A warm February followed by average temperatures in March allowed Boschendal to harvest later than usual in 2013. The later harvest offered up small, ripe and marvellously concentrated berries, resulting in wines of great flavour intensity.
