Tasting Notes
From Argentina's most southerly wine region, this Cabernet Franc (a varietal that is something of a speciality in La Pampa, where Desierto is situated) offers an impressive nose of wild blueberry, vanilla, cassis, earth and herbs with a very pretty lifted floral note. Good structure and body with excellent typicity and complex and layered replays in the mouth. Intense, dark and balanced with an appealing texture. Long and tasty. (VINTAGES panel, Oct. 2014)
