Tasting Notes
Franciacorta Satèn Palazzo Lana Riserva '06 took our Tre Bicchieri award. This Blanc de Blancs from the chardonnay grapes of the Castello, Arzelle and San Carlo vineyards in Borgonato, is aged on the lees for over six years . Entry on the palate is soft and creamy, developing deep and complex, progressive and satisfying with exceptionally well-defined notes of white-fleshed fruit, vanilla and aromatic herbs.
