Tasting Notes
An idiosyncratic combination of spearmint and citrus fruit makes the Laurentiuslay one of the more intriguing Grosse Gewächse of 2012. A cool wet-stone minerality and a touch of hazelnut add some fine nuances to the juicy grapefruit flavour. Texture and body are on the generous side, but well contrasted by the gentle bitterness of a zesty peel finish. Drink: 2013-2020. Score - 17 out of 20 (Superior).
