Tasting Notes
The 2012 Morgon Domaine des Versauds comes from 15 hectares of schist soils. It has an attractive, generous nose with kirsch, red currants and hints of dried fig - opulent for the vintage. The palate is medium-bodied with ripe, quite fleshy and corpulent tannins. There is a pleasant build in the mouth toward a satisfying red cherry and strawberry finish. Drink now-2020. Score - 90.
