The 2013 Stielweg Riesling Alte Reben is another highlight of the Künstler portfolio if you prefer powerful and persistent wines with an excellent aging potential ... Kunstler's vines have 50 years in deep loamy-clay soils which give his top Grosses Gewächs Rieslings a deep, earthy and cool nose of an aristocratic, powerful and really persistent Riesling. Apricot and cooked peach flavors with some Indian spices on the nose lead to a full-bodied and powerfully structured yet buoyant and elegant Riesling of great purity and expression.
