Tasting Notes
Here's a very bright, tight and almost glowing young unoaked chardonnay. Malolactic has softened but I can only imagine how tart it would have been without malo because the acid is still pretty rigid. The clean apple, lime blossom nose also shows a touch of breadiness from six months on the lees. It is midweight (12.9%) with mouthwatering acidity and excellent length that surprises. Obviously drinkable now but could settle a bit. Chablis to a tee. Score - 91. (David Lawrason, winealign.com, April 26, 2020)
