Fendant (a.k.a. Chasselas) was first introduced to Valais in the 18th century. A bit of a rarity, it's the perfect wine for that curious, experimental wine lover in your group. This example will be fresh and lifted, with white floral tones atop apple, citrus and flinty mineral notes. Ideal for cheese fondue, it will also be lovely with grilled pork.
