Description
Originally founded in the late 19th century, Scacciadiavoli was purchased by Amilcare Pambuffetti in 1954 and has been under the stewardship of the Pambuffetti family ever since. The winery was renovated and modernized in 2000, but the family was careful (indeed insistent) that the original look and architecture not be changed. The 2014 Grechetto will be a fresh and floral wine with sweet-edged fruit. It makes a marvellous sipper, but is also a fine choice to accompany light soups or pasta dishes.
