Tasting Notes
The Gassier family, who craft this wine, have been winemakers for four generations. This creamy red sports a nose of fresh raspberries and spice. The raspberry continues further in the aromas and flavours, along with recurring notes of black plum, chocolate, toffee, black pepper, baked fruit and toast. A dry wine with a sweet core, good length, and a lightly spicy finish. Thoroughly enjoyable with a variety of cheddars, or cinnamon chicken. (VINTAGES panel, April 2010)
