Tasting Notes
The 2011 Finca de Villatuerta Syrah is an unusual, pure Syrah, a style that seems to be catching on in Navarra since the grape was approved. This one, bright purple-colored, has aromas of licorice, underbrush, and blackberries with well-integrated oak in the shape of black pepper and smoke. The palate is medium-bodied with a good sensation of freshness, is clean and persistent, very drinkable and appropriate for the table. Drink now-2016. Score - 90.
