Description
Leasingham has been an integral part of the Clare Valley since 1893. The Bin range (which includes a Riesling and a Cabernet/Malbec) was conceived in the mid-1960s and are wines produced from a selection of the best fruit from the vintage. Their 2012 Bin 61 Shiraz is a modern-styled Shiraz that will offer red fruit with touches of dark chocolate and vanilla. Try this with beef stew.
Tasting Notes
Fractionally hazy, full red-purple; made in time-honoured Bin 61 style, with a very generous helping of fruit, oak and tannins; best left alone for two or three years. Drink [until] 2024. Score - 90. (James Halliday, winecompanion.com.au, July 17, 2012)
