It's thought that the Armaron Vineyard, where the grapes for this velvety-textured wine are grown, lent its name to the style we have come to know as Amarone. Look for a traditionally styled Amarone with notes of dried red and dark fruit, spice box, leather and herbs. Try it soon with braised beef or allow it to evolve for another 10+ years.
Tasting Notes
An elegant, impeccably balanced red, layering sculpted tannins with finely knit flavors of plumped black cherry, plum sauce, cured tobacco, dark chocolate and woodsy spice.
