Tasting Notes
Wow! This is a big wine that offers great value. Deep ruby in the glass, almost black with aromas of rich black fruits, eucalyptus and cedar. It's dry, with a medium-full body, ripe dark fruit and dried berry flavours, again with shades of cedar, and ripe tannins on the medium-long finish. Should sing with lamb chops with a sprig of mint, homemade meatloaf, or spicy beef burritos. (VINTAGES panel, Jan. 2012)
