Description
Conde de los Andes is considered to be among the top Rioja terroirs. It is located in Ollauri, a small, old village of just 300 in the heart of the Rioja Alta part of the Rioja appellation, between the southern banks of the Ebro River and the foothills of the Sierra de la Demanda mountain range. This gracefully maturing wine offers a taste of this legendary place, no cellaring required.

Tasting Notes
Wow. This is a pretty, old wine with crushed-berry, chocolate, walnut and spice character. Some cigar-box flavors as well. Medium to full body. Creamy and polished tannins at the end. Lovely old wine. Drink now [through 2024+]. Score - 95. (jamessuckling.com, Sept. 22, 2020)
