Tasting Notes
This blend of Corvina Veronese, Rondinella, Molinara, Rossignola and Negrara offers aromas of cherry and red berries with a confident touch of spice. The palate has great structure and balance with juicy red fruit tones taking the lead. It is medium-full bodied and quite long with a spicy finish. Very versatile, this will work with meat-based pastas, grilled steaks, and firm cheeses. It would also be a fun wine to try on a gourmet pizza night. (VINTAGES panel, Nov. 2010)
