Tasting Notes
Calissanne's 100 hectares are home to 11 grape varieties including the Grenache, Syrah and Cab Sauv that they use to make this wine. Aromas of raspberry, brambleberry, milk chocolate and smoke greet the nose. The palate is dry, medium-full bodied, nuanced and well structured. Quite an impressive length to the tangy and mineral-rich finish. Ideal for grilled steak or aged hard cheeses. (VINTAGES panel, April 2011)
