Tasting Notes
A very fine Alsatian Riesling in a dry style, and a solid value in Grand Cru to boot. Sports classic varietal aromas of apple, peach and pear, with bright floral accents and a touch of mineral. Soft, rich and round on the palate, it nonetheless retains great elegance and freshness. Simply excellent. Enjoy it over the next 5 years with goose, turkey, choucroute (an Alsatian sauerkraut dish), or mildly spiced curries. (VINTAGES panel, March 2012)
