Tasting Notes
In just a few short years, Le Clos Jordanne has established itself as the benchmark of Ontario pinot. Beautiful, lifted pure raspberry and black cherry on the nose, supported by well-integrated spice, burnt rubber and smoky bacon. It's mid-weight, elegant and slightly lean and sinewy. Focused fruit wraps around a sour core and is perfectly held together by a fine tannic structure. There's a lot here, and it really needs a couple of years in bottle. Excellent length. Score - 91.
