Tasting Notes
Hints of barley, candy, chestnut honey, candied citrus, stuffed dried figs and dates, notes of beeswax, incense and licorice. A great freshness and a good taste, quite tannic with a perfect balance between the sweet attack and a pleasant closure, suspended between bitter orange & chestnut honey. Serve as an aperitif or as a dessert wine at the end of the meal, along with seasoned cheeses or local traditional dry cakes such as Calabrian mostaccioli.
