Tasting Notes
Julian Langworthy, chief winemaker at Deep Woods, was named 2019 Winemaker of the Year by James Halliday. This wine is a blend of Semillon from the northern, warmer reaches of Margaret River and Sauvignon Blanc from the southern, cooler part of the region. The result is a combination of lovely texture and ethereal exuberance, with bright citrus and beautiful grassy notes taking shape. Pair with grilled chicken sandwiches heaped with creamy cheese and grilled veggies. (Vintages panel, Nov. 2018)
