Tasting Notes
... the 2013 Costi�res de N�mes Cuvee d'Excellence is a smokin' value that's made from almost all Syrah, yet has a splash of Grenache in the blend. Vinified in concrete tanks and aged all in barrel, it offers classic Syrah chocolatey fruit, licorice and roasted herbs characteristics in its medium-bodied, nicely concentrated, plump, ripe and textured personality. I don't think it will make old bones, but it will put a smile on your face over the coming 3-4 years for sure. Score - 90. (Jeb Dunnuck, robertparker.com, March 2016)
