Description
In one form or another, Orvieto has been produced in Umbria since the Middle Ages. The blend as it exists today tends to centre around the best version of the Trebbiano grape, Trebianno Toscana.

Tasting Notes

Lovely aromas of daffodil, yellow plum and pear. Beautifully smooth texture. Delicate flavours of tree fruit and just the slightest hint of bitter almond for additional complexity and charm. This is an elegant and serious wine with pin-point balance throughout the crisp finish. For herbed grilled chicken, seafood or just for sipping on a warm afternoon or evening, this one has you covered and then some. (VINTAGES panel, May 2013)
