Description
Barbera accounts for nearly half of all of Piedmont's wine production. Nuova Cappelletta Barbera del Monferrato is typically fashioned in an easy-drinking style that favours the variety's red fruit and violet aromas and flavours. These wines are noted for their vibrant acidity, which makes them exceptionally versatile with food and a tasty option for beef stews or barbecue fare.

Tasting Notes
Floral, plummy and spicy on the nose with considerable raspberry tones. The palate offers equally rewarding notes of ripe red raspberry, nutmeg, cedar, cassis and violets all contained within a finely balanced package.
