Tasting Notes
This 100% Sangiovese has complex aromas of blueberry, plum and spice with a lifted violet note on the nose. The palate is dry, medium bodied with smooth tannins. Very fruity with spice and cassis leading to a fruit-laden, juicy finish. This easy-drinking, tremendously food-friendly wine will pair equally well with pasta alla bolognese, meat lasagna or rare steak. (VINTAGES panel, July 2010)
