Description
From one of Napa Valley's most recognizable producers, this Merlot is a consistent, popular winner with Vintages customers. It's always a textbook example of finely balanced winemaking, with superb depth and concentration of flavour. Expect a structured, textured wine with great complexity and layers of black fruit, spice and oak. A nice option for grilled ribs.
Tasting Notes
Toasty oak with tasty dark chocolate and black plum aromas and flavours in this iconic Californian red wine. Fairly smooth though decanting for 2 hours will help. A towering Merlot of great depth and structure from one of Napa's flagship producers. Soul soothing and heart quickening. Finishes with black plum and dark spice. Concentrated, deep and satisfying.
