Tasting Notes
The 2009 Pinot Noir is gorgeous. Bright red fruit, flowers, licorice and spices are some of the notes that emerge from this mid-weight, striking Pinot. Though at times a touch closed this shows marvelous mid-palate presence and a long finish that resonates beautifully. There is a reticence from the cool growing season that is totally alluring, as the wine is only showing a part of its ultimate potential at this stage. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2019. Score - 92+.
