Crafted in a round, easygoing style, this perennially juicy, flavourful wine is always chock-full of rich dark fruit notes with a spicy underbelly. Enjoy with your favourite grilled meats.
Tasting Notes
Lots going on here, with dark cherry, milk chocolate and blackberry jelly on the nose. There is a real wealth of deep, dark fruit in this juicy, round and easygoing wine. The finish shows some tannin, but it's integrated and just showing enough to add extra oomph to the close. This VINTAGES customer favourite is a fine choice for beef fajitas, or beef and black bean burritos. (VINTAGES panel, Sept. 2013)
