This new wine from a well-respected producer is rich, ultra-ripe and aromatic, with notes of cassis, coffee, peppermint-mocha and vanilla. Dark and delicious on the palate with a wonderfully velvety texture. Just the thing for smoky ribs or roast leg of lamb. (Vintages panel, Nov. 2018)
