A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot that was made and bottled in the ' underground city ' of Cricova . Cricova lies 80 metres underground and was once a limestone mine used to build Moldova ' s capital , Chisinau . With many years of oak ageing under its belt , you can expect this wine to present a soft texture and complex mix of blackcurrant , plum , spring flowers , cherry pits , and earthiness on the palate . Drink it tonight with simply prepared meats as you would with a petit château from Bordeaux .
