This Nero d'Avola comfortably calls back to the Old World with nose of stewed stone fruit, graphite, and worn leather. Remarkably balanced flavors of dark berries, stewed cherries, and soft anise spice carry over a juicy acidity that seduces the palate. Memorably drinkable. Excellent, Highly Recommended. Score - 91.
