About this product
Fronsac, one of Bordeaux's satellite appellations, is found on the north bank of the Dordogne River, and its wines are crafted primarily from Merlot. Though Fronsac and the other satellite regions do not own the provenance and majesty of Bordeaux's greatest wine-growing areas, they do share some of their traits and so can be a wonderful introduction to Bordeaux. Expect to enjoy a wine with complex ripe dark fruit, earth and spice tones with the structure to age another 3-5 years.
